some of them have before and after photos. It was hard not to cry in memory of the pain, anguish they must have suffered to incur such injuries. It makes on introspective. Why should I complain about this wart or acne or that i'm not like the guy on the cover of GQ. We have nothing to complain about....and yet it seems that the less someone has to complain about, the more they complain and the more its about silly things.

Enter your reply text here. OK

Those men are heroes (men back then).

////////////////////////////Be warned that the site contains some graphic photographs of disfigurement and surgery.////////////////////////////

Everything has a warning. Every Individual in all societyies are fucked up in a small or big way (usually in the mind/psycologically/ or physically) and yet we still are shocked to see someone different.

STARE, don't ask a simple question or say something polite. Just stare. This is the mentality.

Amazing! Yes the lady with the transplanted face is doing so well today, it is a shame though that war was the major supplier of victims of disfigurement. There is another story from here in Tx. about a lass who had half her face shot off by a crazy boyfriend. She did not have enough bone or tissue left to attatch a new face to, but the surgeons have mananged to rebuild enough so she can eat and breathe. She still hasn't a nose or right eye, but uses prothesis'. She now travels the country speaking and warning other women about domestic violence. Here is a link to the Dallas Morning News, that ran an article on her.

http://www.dallasnews.com/
