Recent studies have shown that the ecosystem around the islands have flourished. And you can your own island in the Dubai World Islands(not sure if this is the correct name) if you are a millionaire.

Look at the south shore of Lake Michigan, over near Chicago. There is a peninsula sticking 2-1/2 miles out from the shore. That’s a steel mill, and is totally man-made from fill over the last 90 years. It’s big enough that it is on the state map. On Google World you can still tell something is there from 500 miles up.

Download Google earth V3. Go over to dubai. head south of the main city. You will see it. Unless Mr. Nukes feels that Google is photoshopping their maps.

You people are retards. Ive been to Dubai recently and i have not seen this. THere is a reason you won’t find it on google maps and it’s not because of the pictures being too old. It does NOT EXIST. The photo you are seeing up there is just photoshopped.
